Hi and welcome to HOPE for the 509, my name is Jordan and I am the owner and Biblical Counselor here. After years as a Youth Pastor and Christian singer I felt led to use my passion for helping people in the area of counseling. So many people are struggling and hurting and many don't have anywhere to turn or have someone they trust who will listen and help them. Too many people look for hope in the wrong areas and wonder why they are still struggling, but I believe that true hope is only found in Christ. I counsel people not based on my wisdom or opinions but based on God's Word. I also believe that one hour a week with me won't change your life, but with God all things are possible (Mt 19:26) which is why I will do my best to point you to the Lord who has the true solutions for your issues. I also offer all my clients the opportunity to message and text me as much as they want during the week between our appointments free of charge to make sure they don't feel alone and know that they are cared for.
From the time I was a teenager I loved to help people, listen to the problems of others, and point people to what God had to say in His Word. After graduating from Bible college I spent several years in youth ministry as a youth pastor and worship pastor before pursing my music career. During my career of over 500 concerts, TV appearances and radio interviews, it was evident to me that my passion for helping people was not winding down. So in 2015 I went back to college to get my second degree so I could be a biblical counselor and continue helping others.
Counseling is not only very challenging but it is time consuming but there is not many other things as rewarding as seeing people get victory over their circumstances and turn their lives over to Jesus. As you get to know me you will realize that I am not your typical counselor. I am not stuffy and don't wear suits or ties because not only do I want to feel comfortable when I work with people but I want them to feel comfortable when they are in my office sharing the good, bad, and deeply painful things in their lives.
I wear my heart on my sleeve as I walk through your journey with you, and yes we will cry together will laugh together, but you can be confident that you have a counselor who cares about you and who will stand by you and pray for you.
